State of charge prediction of lead acid batteries

The general aim of the thesis is a detailed examination of battery charging condition possibility of lead-acid accumulator with the help of pulse current method. The methodology consists of experimental cell testing by pulse battery charging and pulse battery discharging during a progressive change of charging and discharging current as well as charging and discharging time change. The testing procedure proceeds at a various battery charging condition. Principal aim of this work is to compare final voltage dependencies and to establish the usability of pulse current method to determine battery charging condition.
Algorithms and Programming Education with a focus on the programming language Python

The thesis researches the ability of use of Python programming language in the field of high school education and uses qualitative and quantitative methods of research and finds Python suitable. The thesis also brings theoretical analysis of the Python language, including practical exams in the form of sample programs. It researchs even other programming languages used in education and their suitability for this purpose and compares them with Python programming language. It also finds two most common used programming languages at high schools, which are Pascal / Object Pascal and Java.

in English with English title of the thesis: Language of SMS and French as a foreign language The central topic of the thesis is the language of short text messages (SMS) and/or the one of chat and their application in teaching of French as a foreign language (fr. abbreviation F.L.E., français langue étrangère). The aim is to answer the question so as to how to grasp linguo- didactically this modern sociolect of young users (not only) of French, typical of written communication via digital technologies, with the purpose of the purely practical use in the classes of French. Firstly, a linguistic description will be given in order to understand the mechanisms of the explored language code not only in French, but also partly in Czech and English, as well as the determination of the position of the SMS language as a socio-cultural phenomenon in the present-day French. The following research will be dealing with the identification and the analysis of the teaching activities using the SMS language found in approximately fifty text books of French intended for the learners of levels A1, A2, B1, B2. Adequacy of a literary text for the development of reading in primary school

The diploma thesis deals with the literary texts and their adequacy. It researches what features make kids books appropriate for the development of reading in the fifth grade of primary school. The attention is focused on reader's development and demands of literary texts. The action research gives the overview of one group of readers. Their favourite titles are assesed according to their adequacy. Bonnie Campbell Hill's Developmental Continuums are the main component for defining the criteria of the literary text. The selected texts considered according to their adequacy take place in a suggestion for teachers who want to deal with the level of kids books for their pupils. How to plan and then reflect the pupils reading performance with the knowledge of developmental continuums indicates the practical class.

v anglickém jazyce Theoretical and Practical Aspect of Unit-linked Insurance Abstract United-linked insurance (ULI) is the most widely sold type of life insurance in the Czech Republic; frequently, however, this product is sold to clients without respecting their investment profile and financial needs (mis-selling); mis-selling, in turn, results in the loss of confidence in the system of financial distribution and its efficiency. Even though the current legislation offers tools to mitigate mis-selling (not only) of ULI, in practice such legal regulation proves to be insufficient. The causes of this relate to both the distributors and their customers, as well as to the financial products themselves. Behavioural research has proven marked shortcomings in the economic and legal understanding of a human being as a homo economicus, i.e. as a rationally acting agent. A number of studies evidence that people oftentimes demonstrate limited rationality, which negatively impacts financial distribution, in that these cognitive errors may be purposefully and skilfully abused by distributors who use their marketing and sales strategies to the clients' disadvantage.
